Dr. Philip M. Wesley II is a native of Long Island, New York. Dr. Wesley attended Oakwood University (formerly Oakwood College), he later graduated from Atlantic Union College with degrees in Communication and Religion. He continued his education at the Theological Seminary at Andrews University where he obtained his Master of Divinity Degree. Recently, Dr. Wesley received a Doctorate from the University of Montemorelos.
Dr. Wesley is also multitalented. He is the CEO/President of McGuire Entertainment Group, a marketing ministry for independent leaders or artists. The McGuire Group recently released their first single “Get Your House In Order” by Sherice Tomlin. Recently, and he is serving as the president of the Atlantic Union College Alumni. Dr.Wesley has a column in Message Magazine called Elevation: Media That Takes You Higher.
Dr. Wesley has held a number of leadership roles in ministry. Among them, he has served as the Youth/Associate Pastor at the Ephesus SDA Church in Harlem, NY, Pastor of the Friendship SDA Church in Elmira, NY, and the Associate Youth Director for the Northeastern Conference.
Dr. Wesley has served as the Pastor of the New Dimension and Triumphant Tabernacle Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brooklyn, NY. While serving in Brooklyn, he was a sector leader with the 67th Precinct Clergy Council, helping to address gun violence in the community.
Currently, he is the Pastor of the Mt. Olive SDA Church in New London, CT and Emmanuel SDA Church in Providence, Rhode Island where he is an advocate with the Community Chaplain’s Corp.
Dr. Wesley is married to the former Lynnett Price. They are the proud parents of three beautiful daughters, Shaniya Josephine, Leah Gabriele, and Peyton Gianna and new addition Philip M. Wesley III. He is the son of the retired minister of 42 years, Pastor Philip M. Wesley, Dr. Gwen Wesley. His mother was a long time educator in the Northeastern conference, NY Public Schools and Mt. Sinai in Florida, however is now retired. He has one sibling a sister Sheryl, who is currently is the founder of Legacy Week for HBCU Brand.
Dr. Wesley released his podcast, The Anchored Voice: Helping Men to Anchore Life. He also co-authored a book called “ Lessons for The Journey”. The book is a Young Adult Devotional book. His life belief and mission is #BeADisciple a mission to empower more disciples for Jesus Christ!
